About the Artist

Grae is an emerging Melbourne based artist that works mainly in contemporary jewellery and textile art. Grae holds a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and has recently completed her postgraduate in Honours. Coming originally from a special effects makeup background Grae expanded her practice and knowledge of special effects materials into a more art and object base context. She enjoys experimenting with traditional jewellery materials, such as silver and gold, and re-purposed materials that are unconventionally seen in jewellery and creating work that is playful and weird.
